You could fold the longer sleeve inside and sew it so its the same length as the other.  The sleeve would be a little bulkier but it wouldn't be that noticeable.
Also, you could take scissors and cut off the longer ribbing on the longer sleeve about two rows longer than you want it to be. Then carefully pull the yarn out of the sts on the bottom 2 rows and that will leave enough so that you can cast off the end row so they will be the same length.
My solutions come from:  BEEN THERE DONE THAT!!

Update:  It's all fixed! (The look on my face should be happier, although at least this one reflects my exhaustion...)

Thanks!  The yarn I used is Patons Classic Merino in Paprika.  I would say the photo is pretty true to the actual color of the yarn.

Great happy ending. Love that color. You did an awesome job. I can't even crochet by pattern. Brave brave. Cool

That color is GORGEOUS on you! I was going to suggest how to fix it, so I'm glad I read the other posts.

I'm also curious if you still have a copy of that pattern... I was considering making it but it was taken off of indie-knitter's blog because it's going to be published. (I don't think I can wait that long!)
