hello, all!  here's some of the purses i've made the past week.  i'm still making & selling 'em (knock on wood).  for some reason, i've been into the less boxy looking totes/purses.  i can't quite get the really rounded shaped yet, they're more oblong-ish..but i'm too tight to pay for patterns.  Tongue

anyhugh just thought i'd share.

this is my version of one i saw in a magazine (can't remember what happened to the page i ripped out now  Sad )..and is my purse (can't part with it!)

diaper bag:

and another (leftover fabric from last season's collection)

thanks for looking. have a good weekend, all!

PS. sorry for the large pics
thanks for looking!

Shocked Wow!!!  All of your purses are soooooo very cute, great work!!  The fabric choices and combinations are fabulous.  Is this an orginal pattern or did you use a tut as inspiration?  Either way they are wonderous Grin

thank you all for the compliments...

knitty mc..i have an etsy, but unfortunately, i haven't been able to even post anything there to sell.  a couple of friends of mine "carry" my purses, one has a salon, another a bookstore.  i've been blessed with the power of the word of mouth, so i do pretty good locally.

the first & 2nd purses are basically the same.  i saw an ad in a magazine at a doctor's office (i asked the nurse, who had bought a purse from me before, if i could rip it off Tongue).  i've since lost the dumb thing..but my husband made a pattern, taping together printer paper.  i think it's pretty much the same as the granny bag patterns, though.

toque..  Cheesy i was singing that, too, when i posted!!
