I think that these might actually be dinosaurs, but until someone convinces me otherwise, the red one is an anteater with a beaver tail and the green one is a monkey with a giant growth on his chest.

they're supposed to be "jungle animals"  i wish i had saved the back of the box they came from.. i don't think trash duty's been done in awhile--it may still be salvagable.  if i find them, should i send you a list, or is it more fun to try to figure them all out?

i'm glad you liked it! i was a little worried the cage bars were going to get smashed.

Oh, it's much more fun to figure them out myself.  I think I may just go ahead and soak them all as it occurred to me that it would be a really bad thing if one of my dogs ever got ahold of one of those capsules.  They've eaten some strange stuff, but I don't know what a sponge animal would do to their insides.  I do love the tin, especially all the vintage animal pictures.

i got my tin from jerriblank today!!! woo hoo! look how cute! i got 4 cute magnets, and adorable sewing machine keychain ( ) and a fun little whistle! (my dog freaks out whenever she hears it  ) Oh! and a tasty tomato bookmark! so cute it will be perfect for my next reading venture!  thanks so much! this has been a great swap! I'm in a hotel in St.Paul on the house computer checking this on the road because I was so worried about you receivimg okay-finally!!! Alice In Wonderland was a great theme and you were a really good swap partner-amd I hadn't noticed you could open the scroll-so I can't wait to get home to check it out.
