I think that these might actually be dinosaurs, but until someone convinces me otherwise, the red one is an anteater with a beaver tail and the green one is a monkey with a giant growth on his chest.

lol--i love your descriptions.. "monkey with a giant growth" ha ha ha!

they're supposed to be "jungle animals"  i wish i had saved the back of the box they came from.. i don't think trash duty's been done in awhile--it may still be salvagable.  if i find them, should i send you a list, or is it more fun to try to figure them all out?

i'm glad you liked it! i was a little worried the cage bars were going to get smashed.

Oh, it's much more fun to figure them out myself.  I think I may just go ahead and soak them all as it occurred to me that it would be a really bad thing if one of my dogs ever got ahold of one of those capsules.  They've eaten some strange stuff, but I don't know what a sponge animal would do to their insides.  I do love the tin, especially all the vintage animal pictures.

Wow!  It's so cool to finally have the internet (after my drawn-out move to Portland!) These all look fabulous!

Dina - I'm not sure if you know, but you can open the scroll on your travel tin, here's a photo:

So, unfortunately, the post had some trouble delivering Dina's tin to me, long story short, I was blessed with two lovely tins!

She chose my Alice in Wonderland theme:

The goodies:

The tins:

Thank you so very much!!  I'll display them next to my Alice in Wonderland altered book!
