Stargazersewer I don't now about the little stones. I got them in a big pack with a bunch of glitter and stuff I don't remember where and I haven't used any yet. I think you may have to glue each tiny on down. I'm sorry, but they were purple! I am really glad to hear you liked all your goodies. You certainly managed to make the whole package look better than I thought it was! Thank you for that!

I think the squashed faeries are by Brian Froud.

Oh man, you guys are going nuts!  I think I've done well with the decorations, but for filling the insides . . . I told myself I wasn't going to buy any more fabric for this swap . . .

Don't be sorry....I was just trying to peel a backing off and it wasn't working so I wasn't sure if I was inept or what.  I've never actually used anything like them before and they are pretty.

Yep.  They're from Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book, which he did with Terry Jones (of Monty Python).  Funny stuff.

Great tin, Lady Llanalla.  That is really, really pretty.

Like I was telling stargazersewer the ribbon embroidery is not that hard! Go get a little book from Barnes and Nobles or Borders Books. I learned from a little book. Its way easier than it looks I swear! You can do it. Oh and don't worry about all the hype about using silk ribbon, I use the cheap Offray stuff they have at the front of Joannes or wherever for anywhere from $1 to 10 cents a spool (buy it when its on sale!) It works just fine and you all think it looks nice. Who needs $10 (or more) a spool ribbon?

oh, man, now I want to go intercept the postman for the tins I sent and add more cool pretty stuff to the innards Tongue That is a lovely tin-can you tell us what the themes were-I'm guessing purple, yellow, flowers, faeries? And I love the oval shape.
