thanks guys! so here are some answers to your questions.

1) i didnt use a pattern for the dress or the hoodie.

2) the hoodie fabric is actually just cotton fabric w/ absolutely no stretch so i made it looser..but i loved the fabric sooooo much i just had to use it. it's nice that it's lightweight though since it's starting to get really warm out but i can still wear it =).

3) and lastly for the hoodie i just based it off one i own but it would be something like:

- make a tshirt w/o sleeves thats cut open down the front
- make long sleeves and attach them ((one sleeve is like a looong trapezoid w/ a half circle on the fat end. there should be tutorials somewhere for sleeves))
- make a hood based on a hoodie you own. ((i lined it so ugly seams wouldn't show.. basically make 2 hoods and sew together w/ the pretty sides facing eachother then turn inside out..))
- attach the hood around the "neck" of the hoodie..
- sew a rib knit band to the bottom
- sew a zipper on
-VOILAAAAA YOU'RE DONE!!!

I'm gonna dream about that hoodie tonight, you know.  Where's the fabric from?  It's so cute I could die.  What'd you use for the ribbed bottom stuff?  I tried using thick ribbed elastic once, but with little success.  What'd you do with it?  Did you stretch it as you sewed, or let it work itself out?

thankss! welll the fabrics from joanns and the ribbed stuff i actually took from an old sweatshirt. i stretched it SLIGHTLY as i sewed it. the only problem is i can't find any more of the ribbbed fabric for the bottom of the sleeves. but maybe i'll go to goodwill and find a cheap sweatshirt to chop up.. but if anyone else has any ideas where i can find rib knit sweatshirt fabric please share!  Smiley
