I love this so much! My friend's mother is remarrying in the summer, and I needed a cover-up to wear to the wedding. I'd had the pattern in my bookmarks for a while, and this challenge gave me the motivation I needed.

Knit in less than a week, in a cashmere/cotton blend, something-or-other elite. I used the pattern for the body of the shrug, but made the back wider, used a different stitch pattern for, and slightly belled the sleeves - I hope it's different enough from the original to qualify.

On me -
