Jeeze, I must have knitting ADD because I got so bored with this project! Lol. I'm so close to being done (just have to do the arm holes) but haven't picked it up in a while. I'm hoping to get a good deal done tonight.

Drats! Does anyone have an idiot's guide to whipstitching the facing together? I'm confused about how to do it with live stitches on the needle.

Couldn't I bind off and then stitch the seam?  Huh

I put my live stitches onto waste yarn before I did the whipstitching - you might find the whipstitching instructions in the pattern easier to follow if you do this.

You could bind off and then sew but you might find you have a slightly bumpy seam  - but you might decide that you don't mind that.

Good call with the waste yarn. I think I'm going to try that and see if I can make sense of the instructions. I hate making progress and then running into a snag. Can you tell I'm a newbie knitter? lol

I finished my Summertime Tunic on Monday and wore it to work on Tuesday. More details on my blog. This wasn't fun to knit after miles of stockinette stitch, but the finished product is really nice.

very pretty, Knitters Delight.
I hope to finish mine before the end of the summer but it seems like it is taking a while (slow, newbie knitter)

Thanks everyone. It took me a while on this one too. It's just a slow going project, even though it's an easy one.
