Hi guys
your sewing is great - lots of good ideas here. Just found Craftster in the last week or so and have become a bit hooked on browsing!
Thought I would post a few boys clothes I have made previously, since there are a lot of Girls ones.
Here goes... 2 Tops for my nephews:
Front

Back

Pjs For My ds I made from scraps, so I had to play with it a bit - Front then Back

T-shirt with transfer I designed...Detail:

and whole T-shirt on my ds

Track pants and a top. Hear is the back view:

Here is the back view: he kept moving so hard to get a good shot.

I hope you enjoy and it helps someone with some inspiration...it is hard to find a lot of nice boys clothes.  Smiley
SORRY I had trouble uploading the right URL for the pics and had to go and find some info here.

Yay!  Cute!  I like the blue/white star shirt, and of course the little camo butt.  Grin  I oughta post photos of our H'ween costumes.  Boys can be fun, too!!

Awww, those are cute!  The boys do kinda get the shaft when it comes to clothes, don't they?  I usually let DS pick any fabric he wants for pants/shorts or tops, no matter how ridiculous or expensive since guys don't get a lot of design options.   Grin

I did use patterns but they are pretty old - hand-me-down ones from my mum. Some are adaptions of patterns too.
I think if you are unsure - buy a basic pattern (ie: top and pants) that will give you the size for your child and you can then adapt it, copy existing clothes etc. But good to have the basic shape if you haven't done it before. For example i added the pockets and orange tabs onto the camo pants - but it is a basic elastic waist pant pattern otherwise. - Hope that is helpful!

They're great - love the transfer!

You're right, it does seem that boys clothes can be hard to find.
