i did, in fact, receive today! i was worried because it said it had arrived, but it didn't arrive with my regular mail. i live in an apartment, so i'm guessing they bring packages later, because right before i left to get Chinese food (yum!) i found it in between our inner and outer doors. yay! so of course, i postponed (though i was starving) and ran back in to open everything gleefully. onto the pictures!

a BUNCH of different teas, a ball infuser, and a pretty wrapped package. wonder what that is....

shot glasses! the one on the left says "Good Drinking Water" and the one on the right says "F*ck You" and it's encircled with candy hearts bearing not-for-children's-ears phrases. not offended in the least by the way! i'm 23, i have college humor. lol.

lovely wonderful birthday package! thank you SO MUCH!!

Great package, especially the shot glasses, I really like the "good drinking water" one.

wow, first two packages to me! i recieved from piratetreasure today.

green tea, a chinese teapot and teacup set, teapot cozy, cute little red flower pin, chinese pineapple cookies, and banana bread (cooked by people at the food network, piratetreasure bought it at a bake sale and the proceeds went to nutrition for children). i'm not sure if you're aware of this, pratetreasure, but the banana bread had chocolate chunks in it. thanks!

i think i have it on right.

thanks, piratetreasure!

My whole birthday package from Rockstr009!

It was fun, fun, fun, to get an early birthday present. She sent me a knitted market bag, which has been one thing that I've been wanting for awhile but never made time to make one. And then were the surprises an Indian handkerchief with pretty birds and handmade lilac soap from a local NC artisan (I'm still contemplating using it or maybe leaving it in my car so it will smell amazing all the time).

A close up of the handkerchief, I might use it for a project, but most likely I'll just wear it!

My new market bag, testing out it's stretchiness before the farmer's market tomorrow.

Thank you very much, Rockstr009! A proper thank you is on its way.

I received my birthday present from SakanaSea last night, I asked for zippered pouches, and she sent me four of all different styles! Shocked They are so much fun and so well-made... see for yourself:

This picture really does not do them justice... The rocketship one is so vibrant and adorable, and is lined with rocketship fabric. The one underneath is pleated but you can't really tell from the photo... it's so cute, it looks like a mini designer purse. The flower pouch is this lightweight textured fabric outside (is it Japanese?) and hot pink inside (excellent color combo!) And a totally awesome watermelon pouch which DH tried to claim for himself as soon as I'd opened the package (as if!)

Thank you so much SakanaSea, I will love my pouches forever! Grin
