Great, I'll patiently await the non-felted bugs. Thanks.

Actually, it's pretty great that you aren't releasing them sooner, as I should be studying for exams well into summer and thus (officially) have no time for knitting.

I'll be looking forward to the bee in particular - I wan't to knit one, because my office at work has just gotten a mascot, and it is of course a bee. And now I want a bee at my desk! (The abbrevated name of my office is C-BI, and "bi" means bee in my native language)

I just finished the ant today! It was fun to knit and I really like how it came out. I just used some Cascade 220 I had laying around and it felted up really nicely. The only modifications I made were turning the body around so the big end is the abdomen instead of the head and needle felting on the eyes. You can check out my blog for more info on what I did and more pics. Smiley

I love your bugs! I'm making a few beetles myself and I think you may be able to help me with a problem I'm having-how did you shape the legs and get them to not be floppy?  I thought about putting wire in the middle but my beetles are for a baby so I don't think wire is the best plan... If you have any tips please let me know. Thanks!  Grin
