So you have to keep the balms refrigerated?

You don't necessarily have to keep balms refrigerated- this one just seems a little goopy and fairs better if you do so.  Like I said, I'm going to try the beeswax tonight and I'll post the recipe as soon as I know it works.

killah- lol, great idea.  I'm sure she'll love it.

If your friend's using condoms she shouldn't use a petroleum based product as lube, you just might want to mention it to her! (It breaks down the condom)

HAHAH! Sorry, I thought you were giving it as a present as lube! Lots of gals on my yahoo soap groups are always making stuff like that!

I made this too and it is awesome! The jellybean thingies are cute! And as far as the melting I had the same problem when I went out and put it in my purse, you just have to keep them in a cool place.

I made something similar to this, and I found that it if you melt the vaseline first until it is liquidish, it stays more solid  Wink

Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention. It also solidifies better if you add a little bit of cornstarch when the vaseline is melted. That's what I did when I made it and it kept a lot better. Good luck =D
