I made this a few days ago because I was sick of looking at the one my mom had up in my room (was previously an office with a beach theme)... the old one had a partially ripped off sailboat on it. Not good at all!

So with the help of a little scrapbook paper and Mod Podge, I now have this lovely little thing! Smiley Best of all, it hardly took any time

Oh, that is so pretty!
I thought about doing this, so much that I have a few stacks of plate covers around here......
I am so sad! But now, I'll have to do something about it!

I love the paper choice, and I like how you cut it out as a rectangle, it looks neater. i've seen people try to wrap the paper around the whole thing and that usually tears after a while.

Thank you! Smiley

I did think cutting out the rectangle would look better than trying to get all the edges to sit flat. But I have some ideas for using a whole sheet cause I think a layered look would be cool too!

oh now that is too funny. I just did the same thing today! I found these awesome wallpaper prints online, and they mail you free samples so I ordered them for that purpose, and just got around to doing it. Well now I know that I'm not special. :.(
