The Lil Hippies are taking over!

I got bored with felt yesterday, and whipped these up.

I'm not a big fan of pink, so I'll be giving them away or selling them.  I think they turned out relatively well, considering I've never made coasters or done any blanket stitching before.

Just two layers of felt.  Should I have put something in the middle?

Pretty! I love the little flowers.

Those look like they belong in the living room with the cherry blossoms (it's in featured projects).

those are for reals awesome. and no, i don't think you needed to put anything in the middle; felt and i just aren't very good friends, so i didn't know.

these are gorgeous!

I like your choice of felt, too. the cherry blossom motif is usually done in silks, etc - fabrics that have sort of a cool nature to them (does that make sense to any one but me?). felt sort of defies that, cozies it up a little - an interesting choice!

I found the spot where truth echoes and know each beauty mark by heart - but I just can't keep her still enough to render perfect art.

Yes, it does make sense.  And yes, that was the feeling I was going for.  I'm glad someone noticed!

your coasters are nice, but I see a little owl behind that spool of blue thread and he wants some attention too
