Details of swap:
This swap is for a "round robin" style journal swap. A small group (6 at most) of us will have journals that we send around to each other. Each person is to decorate a 2 page spread in the journal and then mail it on to the next person. We will mail out every 3 weeks so we'll have about 2 and a half weeks to craft.

We will first get our books and decorate the first page ourselves. You can do the cover as well if you want.

No.

I know we talked about it, but I don't want to. You can mix up the order in round 3 when you organize.

Maybe this time around we could put an envelop in our journals for extras?  I don't mean random extras like what we sometimes send with ATCs.  I mean the really good stuff that we've saved up for this swap or for a particular person.  I know there were things I wanted to send along to a particular person after doing my pages, but I didn't want to spoil the surprise by sending it directly or confuse things for anyone else by sending it with the journal.

Or maybe the way to handle this would be for me to stick an envelope in the person's journal with this comes up, and other ppl could add to it if they wish.  That way there wouldn't be an extra envelope to keep track of (and pay to mail) in every journal.

So here's another question for you all -- when you get a journal the second time around, do you think you'll want to work on your first spread more?  There's one (I won't say which one) that will be very hard for me to not tinker with.

I may have to fight the urge to go back and mess with some, but I think in some I stopped just short of "overworked". At least I hope I stopped in time! 

I had to tape A-roze's in its envelope early because I couldn't keep my hands off it. I really won't touch it again!
