I have an idea for Kaesea's but its way, way, way outside of what I've done in the past, I'm not 100% sure I can get it to work.  Shocked

Give it a try! It's only paper -- in the grand scheme of things, nothing bad will happen in the world if it doesn't go exactly as you'd planned. But if it does... imagine the awesome wow feeling... right? Grin

Heck, sometimes my stuff looks better when it doesn't work out the way I planned. Live dangerously!

When I got Stifflersmom's new journal a few days ago, I almost gasped when I opened it -- it's so beautifully done -- she set a wonderful stage for the rest of us to work on.

PLUS, I had just bought a vintage stamp in an antique store that *perfectly* goes with this theme, and even more perfectly with Stifflersmom's journal.  I'm super excited that I get to use it!  Smiley

Oh, yes, you know we are!

I'm going to be out of town during the next two sendouts. I'm going to try to send early to you, stiffly, but if I can't make it, I may have to run you to June 25 on this next one. I'll let you know.

Meanwhile, since I will be gone next week, would you all please both pm me and post here when you send? That way everyone will know where we stand. I'll try to check in while I'm gone, but I will have limited access.

I'm going to be right up to the deadline on this next send out.  I think I'll be done in time though!  Smiley

Have any of you ever used vintage stamps before?  I have 3 of them that were probably used in an office.  The antique dealer I bought them for had no idea how old they are, but I would guess (from the font and wear) that they are at least 25 years old.  The rubber is white and feels kind of dry.  I'm being very gentle with them, but I'd like to know how to care for them properly -- any tips?

Actually, I feel relieved.  I suspect I would have come back from such a convention *totally* broke!  Wink

As for cleaning your stamps, I would think if you could stick to maybe just water, it would be best? Nothing that would dry them out any more than they already are?

And as for the stamp convention, let's just say I did some significant damage to the ol' bank account.  Tongue

I'm about finished with aroze's book (I couldn't stand the thought of sending late.) I'll send at the end of this week, stiffly.  Smiley
