Here's a bookshelf I designed/made this winter.






I love how the pattern (if one can call it that) in the wood comes out where I rounded off the edges.

That is nicely done. The grain of the wood really comes out.

that looks really nice. very professional.

and you're right; the woodgrain is very decorative. if you made a lot of them, it would be nice to stain them--nothing very deep or drastic, just a bit of shine and tint to bring out the grain and protect the wood.

(ps: i really want these!)
