Green Eggs and Ham!

I will crochet them in a box.
I will crochet them with a fox.
I will crochet them in a house.
I will crochet them with a mouse.
I will crochet them here or there.
I do like them anywhere.
I will crochet green eggs and ham.
For I do love that Seussy man.

Hurray for Dr. Seuss! These cuties are made of %100 cotton yarn with a size E hook. I made up the pattern as I went along, though I was inspired by the Free Little Fried Egg Pattern at http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5247521 for the eggs. To make the edges of the eggs uneven I alternated using single, half-double,and double stitches.

I had a great time making them and now they hold a place of honor in our kitchen.

I remember doing speaking competitions where I had that book memorized and I had to recite it.  Brings back memories.

Those are perfect!!!  Great job!

Currently taking a hiatus from swapping.  Sad

I've always wondered what disease cured ham had.
