Here are my 1st few attempts at spinning...

1st spun and knitted up....its wool and aa gray and a black alpaca...



1st spun from my kit


2nd spun.....undyed


1st plied:wasn't really sure how to do this but I think it worked?

hey!! loving the white chunky yarn, looks like the twinkle soft chunky!! l may have to get a spinnin' myself.. I love the soft chunky, but can't really afford it here in oz, so spinning myself would be much more economical! Thanks for sharing  Cheesy

Wow! v. impressed. I just couldn't get the hang of my drop spindle so moved to a wheel, which I find much easier. I am in awe of anyone who produces useable yarn from a spindle.

Thanks....I couldn't get it right at all at first....so I had to take a class...and thats how I ended up with 2 spindles....and I'm ready to make more:) Have to keep telling myself that I must use what I have before buying more Grin

go check it out! it's a really fun site that has little "galleries" of people's first skeins, and pictures of yarn in weird locations- very fun- and all sorts of little categories like that. uber fun yarn p0rn every day of the week! Grin
