My contest entry is of a Bomb Pop.  I remember buying these from the ice cream man when I was little.  I loved how cool and refreshing they were on a hot day!  But more importantly, I loved the colors; red, white and blue.  Such a big meaning to a little girl.  I've always been very patriotic [still am], and today I still enjoy seeing these and how they remind me of the USA with those three important colors.  So, I dedicate my contest entry to my cousin David that is stationed in Iraq.  I love you and hope you come home safe!  Cry

This is a free-form crochet project.  No pattern at all.  I had a visual image in my head and just went with it.  I love how it turned out and I hope everyone else will as well.   Smiley

And here's what Miss Bomb Pop did today...

She lounged out in the yard trying to get a tan, but she started melting, so I put her back in the freezer so she could come back and play another day!

Looks good.  From far away you wouldn't know it was crochet.
