This is my version of the lariat from the last Bead and Button - the St Petersburg stitch lariat.  I used purple AB seed beads, and a matte 8/0 bead in the centre instead of the crystals.  I quite like the feel of it around my neck.  The display neck is small - when it is folded in half and the ends pulled through, the fringe sits just between my boobs. 









I love the texture of the chain.

oooh, it came out lovely!! I'm cheered that you tried it with different beads in the center. I am very much a novice and so am still following directions to the letter LOL I need to get over that Tongue
