What a darling dress! The fabric is so cheerful!

How was the pattern to make? I just got some fabric that would look lovely as that dress but it would be my first attempt at a dress.

Wow! Three years later and this pattern is still around! And it still looks good. I bet you're still wearing your dress.

I made this dress for The Glass Slipper Project in Chicago, which distributes prom dresses to girls in the area. This was an easy dress to make, although I made some slight changes.

More pics and my blog post (http://sewchicago.wordpress.com/2010/06/21/im-in-love-with-embellishments/) about this fun and flirty dress.

I also made the dress two more times for myself. I had two weddings over Memorial Day weekend. Will add pics when I take some of the dresses themselves.

Sew, what are you up to? http://asgchicago.wordpress.com/
