Man, cutting up t-shirts is hard on the hands! I still have a couple more to do but I probably won't start knitting until I've had a chance to plan some more, so I doubt I cut them up anytime soon.

I did swatch a little and it's very thick, but I'm still holding out hope that I can somehow make a bathrobe for my toddler.

Anyways, if you wanted to see any pics of the tie-dyeing adventure you should check out my blog post (http://lystessa.blogspot.com/2007/06/rit-dyeing-tie-dyeing.html).

Ooh, this would be a great gift for my friends who just got married. I told them it may take a while to get your present (a knit blanket) but I may do this on the side as well Smiley

Lystessa your "yarn" looks great!  I like your colors.

I hear ya on the sore hands too.  The first couple I cut up I used scissors.  Then I got a rotary cutter.  Ahhhh.  So much better!

I was copying your colors.  Grin
I used the RIT denim blue and dark green. They look a bit more washed out than the photo, but it's pretty close.

Thanks for the compliment, WIPs, but it will probably be a while before I get started on this.
