I've been thinking of keeping an updated list of what swaps are relevant to felters
as a sticky in the "discussion and questions" section of the felting board.
The only types of swaps that would be included would be ones that relate directly to wooly arts
Eg, swapping materials (wool top, dye, carders, etc)
or swapping felted items
I wasn't plannng on including swaps where they happen to be looking for a felter,
but you wouldn't recieve anything woolly in return

I have a few thoughts about it, and I'm curious about what the rest of the craftster felters think
-Would you find such a list helpful?
-What sort of swaps do you think should be allowed in the list?

On the topic, here's one that I think sounds like fun:

I would love it, I look at the list of swaps and just become overwhelmed. or get myself inton one I am not really into and feel guilty for not loving my craft time....

That roving swap looks really cool!

There are several felters in shop the swap!

Valsped and Ptarmic Wumpus have been putting up alot of felted things.

Knitwit, Javede, and I have put up rovings and batts.

And several other people have handspun yarn.

FOR SURE JANE!!!!!  Cheesy whoops! did i yell that out loud? hahaha.
No, I know for sure if you were to start putting links up to those things, I would probably be more inclined to check it out. At the moment - the felting boards are one of the only places I venture these days....and I avoid the swapping because it's SO tempting to sign up for ALL of them!!! lol.

thanks Jane.

I had a feeling that there were a few craftsters like that  Wink

Just had a thought:
I think I'll include current swap info in the "What's on? Where are you from?"
Just remembering when the felting board's first page was almost full of stickies Cheesy
