I had a bunch of those plastic "tables" that come in the center of the pie when you get takeout pizza.

So I decided to make them into mini shelves to display my collection of Re-Ment miniatures:

They were super easy to make - I just took the mirrored tiles off of a disco ball Christmas ornament (they popped right off) and used tacky glue to attach them to the top of the pizza "tables." Of course if you don't have a disco ball to dismember you can always just grab tiny mirrored tiles up at the craft store.

The mirrored tables can then be stacked or glued together for more permanent arrangements. When you're done just adorn the shelves with your favorite wee trinkets and treasures. Smiley

What a great way to recycle and make miniatures, too. I bet schoolteachers could use this idea. You could even paper mosaic them, then modpodge them.

We call those things pizza "tables" too! Smiley

I like that, it's very neat. I bet my girls would love some for their funky dollhouse, too. (They don't really play with it, they just decorate it, so I think this would be perfect!)

What a great idea, I may have to "steal" the idea, but I'll post pics when they are done!
