I received my microscope slide pendant kit today from redheadskydiver!!!!  I have been wanting this kit for a long time, and I'm thrilled to have one now!  She also included a finished pendant for me as well.  I love it!  Thank you very very much!!   Kiss

What a great idea for a kit! Is there a way of making those babies without a soldering iron?

In the kit I send, I do send an option for non-soldering. Basically just using aluminum tape. The tape isn't as sturdy as the soldered version, you know the edges of the tape might start to lift, etc but they are still pretty and a good way to try it out before investing in the soldering iron if you don't have one. Although I picked up my soldering iron at Radio Shack for just over $10.

Yesterday I received this lovely yarn from Avesthel.

It's a hand spun wool/silk blend from Mystical Creations Yarn.

I'm going to knit something for me, for a change. Cheesy  I'm so excited! Now I just need to decide what to make with it.  Any ideas?

It's about 140 yards and it knits up to about 15 st / 20 rows = 4 inches (on US8)

Thank you Avesthel!!
