Imagine . . . you have just finished your meal at a nice restaurant.  The waiter brings around a sampling of the available desserts for you to choose from.  What will you pick?  They all look so yummy!

Maybe a closer look at some of the choices will help.

Cherry Pie . . .

Lemon Meringue Pie . . .

Decadent Chocolate Cake . . .

Refreshing fruit tarts . . .

Or maybe one of each!   Wink

These are all my own patterns.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Oh wow those are wonderful!!  I love that chocolate one...yum...

I have a question for anyone in general.  I have been seeing a lot of these crocheted 'objects' and I don't understand how they are made...is there a thread all about this or a good link?  I know how to crochet and knit, but really don't know how to do these types of things!  Thanks.

Mmmmm blueberries...

Those are superb!
Also, they bring back my childhood, we had the same plates when we were kids, my mom always made us eat all of our food, we'd compete to join the "clean plate club" every night- hahah.

Ha!  I got these plates from *my* parents when I went off to university . . . and I'm still using them.  They'll be back in style soon.

As for the requests for patterns -- wow, I'm really touched!  I did scribble notes as I went, so I'll post them once I decipher them.  I guess I should put them in separate posts in the main forum?

Thanks for all the great enouraging words!

Oh these made me hungry. I especially love the peaks on top of the lemon meringue pie (they look so real!) and the cherries inside the cherry pie. Wonderful!

Amazing! They're so realistic, especially the merangue. And yet they have a simplicity, using the textures of crochet so effectively. I would love to see patterns for these too.
