I'm here in Savannah!  WEEE!  I love it!  The house is pretty much unpacked and things are calming down.  I can't wait to see the Yarn shops.

motoredxheart, I think it would be great if we can all get together.  We'll have to set something up soon!

hey guys,
just saw this thread and got a little excited inside.  i'm moving to savannah at the end of the month all by myself to go to scad (film major) and am looking for some people to craft with, or even direct me to places to craft to.  i've only been there to visit the campus so i don't know my way around anything.  maybe when you guys meet up i can be a third wheel?   Lips sealed  just a thought...

Let me know when you are finally in town.  I can show you guys around and we can grab coffee or lunch and talk about crafting.  I love meeting new people w/ the same interest.  I say the more the merrier.

I've been living in Savannah for about 7 months now and I love it so far.  There's a yarn store at Victory and Truman Parkway named the Red Needle or something like that.  It's got some cool stuff in it, but I have nothing to compare it to since the only other places I've shopped for yarn are Michael's, JoAnn's and WalMart.    Sad

Anywho, I'd love to get together sometime.  =)

The more the merrier.  I haven't tried knitting yet.  I do know how to crochet.  My favorite coffee shop downtown is Gallery Expresso.  That's where I usually go to hang out and grab coffee w/ some friends, when I do get a chance to go out.

I crochet, and have failed several times to learn knitting.  =p  I'd love to though, one day.

I work downtown, so I'm in that area M-F, 9-5.  Anyone else?  Maybe we could grab lunch or after-work coffee or something sometime.

I think we're safe to set up a coffee date.  I'm open any time from now through June 1st, after that, I'm unsure.  I still don't know what cafes are best, so I'll let the regulars choose.  Let me know, ladies!

Uh...no clue.  =p

I'm not a coffee person, but there's almost always non-coffee stuff at coffee shops.  =)

Do we have a central location that's convenient to everyone?  I'm either downtown or near The Landings (south end of Truman Parkway).  Where is everyone else?

I work downtown, SCAD's Eichberg bldg on MLK to be exact.  I work 7-4 M-F for the next week and a half.  Then my hours change to 8 - 5 for summer quarter, then back to 7-4 after the quarter ends.  I'm open anytime after 4 pm and most weekends unless I go out-of-town or have a family thing scheduled.

Okay, let's plan something for about 4:15 pm, pick a week day.  I remember you telling me about a cafe, reese, which one was that again?  Just let me know what day and we'll go from there.
