The design for this dress had been bouncing around my head for weeks, but this challenge gave me the incentive to finally knit her up! I crocheted the bobbled neckband, picked up some of those stitches, and then knit the rest of the dress in the round from the top down.

I used Cascade "Sierra" which is an 80 cotton, 20 wool blend. Once the dress got long, the weight of the cotton yarn made the armholes droop down to a pretty obscene degree, so I added crochet around the armholes to correct this. This addition wasn't my original intention, but I think it looks nice.

Thanks for looking!
