OH, wow... that is terrible.  I'm so sorry to hear about her loss.  I certainly understand waiting a few weeks.

Smiley I think it will be a nice challenge.  I am already eager for the gallery and what everyone does.  Not sure you you guys know but Selise's father passed away last week so that is why she has not posted or added names to the list.
Oh, I'm very sad to learn this.  My thoughts and prayers are with you, Selise.

ooh, I am thinking of joining,  but I have never made a fabric card before... Undecided And does it have to be sewn? or is glue ok? Should it have card inside it, or should it be completely fabric? Thanks, I hope to join!!

A fabric ATC would be the same as a fabric postcard - this is my first time fabric ATC but have made postcards before - now don't let me scare you but it is like a miniature quilt. A fabric back, padded centre and fabric front. I use a stiff interfacing in with all this as well to give it some rigidity and a card like feel.  This is only my interpretation of a fabric card and follows my quilting background, but I am sure anything goes - I am sure selise will answer all questions when she is back online Cheesy   I do use a spray glue to fix everything down first before I hit it with the sewing machine as little bits can go flying everywhere.  Just make sure it is dry before you start to sew as it can gum up your machine.

I made two of mine tonight but have run out of thread in my bobbin and really could not be bothered finishing them tonight.  I am loving the way they turned out and it will be hard to part with these ones.

and yes, anything goes with fabric.

You can choose cotton, poly/cotton blends, felt, cross stitch AIDA fabric.. go crazy!

I've worked with felt, cotton, blends.  Usually I use interfacing on the back of the cards (hides stitching if I do embroidery on them) and write with a pen on the interfacing.  More often than not I do a blanket stitch around the edges of my fabric cards, but anything goes. Smiley

So, Selise, will you put everyone in groups of four when it gets to the end of the sign up period?  And then will you let us know who all is in our group?

I can put ya'll into groups now, and send the addresses out when a group is full.

if, by the time sign ups end, we have an un-even number for group of 4, if someone would like to be in 2 groups, that's OK with me too. Smiley
