Is this all from one T-shirt? I love it, I've got to make one, I haven't reconstructed yet.  I wish i'd been sewing way back when, as I always give anything not worn to charity shops, so I don't have anything to reconstruct......However I have your shirt tutorial on my list of many things to do. Wink
the black part on the back is cut from another t-shirt. other than that, it is all from the one tee pictured. i could kick myself for all the good recon-able stuff i've given away over the years, too, as the idea of reconstructing is pretty new to me as well. i was so blown away and inspired when i found craftster! i say give reconstruction a go - it's really fun!

there is no real pattern. i kind of made it up as i went along, with much inspiration from a couple existing garments and vegbee's tee to wee dress tutorial. you can see her tutorial here:
