Ok so last night I was going through my closet and pulled out 14 items that I will wear with some work. My first target was the "hot dress" i used to wear clubbing when I was crazy and VERY VERY thin and into risky outfits.

I didn't put the dress on because it is VERY short and very not cute on my slightly older less thin body. (Trust me, you are happy I didn't put it on)

So I chopped the top off, changed the side seam a little, shortened the zipper (which I read how to do on craftster at some point) and made a sexy professional skirt.

What do you think? This was my first recon or clothing item. Many more to come! Smiley

I think it's great! Nice that you can change something so simple in design and then make it even better! Nice work

Thank you for all the nice comments.
I had some trouble shortening the zipper, but I think that is one of those practice makes perfect things...
