Details of swap:
... Love cute and original school supplies that no one else has, but everybody wants? Does writing with a furry pencil motivate you to do homework? Then this is the swap for you! Whether you are in high school, college, joining this swap for your elementary school child, or just love school supplies, there's always a need for pens, pencils, binders, and notebooks. But it doesn't stop there...

med student? how about a stethoscope cozy, decorated clipboard, or scrubs?
art student? how about a camera cozy or paint brush/pastel/colored pencil/charcoal roll
cosmetology? craft a makeup bag, smock/apron, handmade soaps and scrubs
studying law? how about a legal pad folder, or briefcase
...and so on...
here are some other ideas:
pencil case, diploma frame, backpack/messenger bag, lunchbox, jewelry representing your partner's studies, eyeglass holder or chain, pocket protector, alarm clock, book cover/cozy...the list is endless!

i like this idea - i teach in turkey and would love to share some interesting school supplies with my students!  i think i can find some cool turkish stationery shop goods to modify for my partner as well :-)

I am a knitter with problems with my wrist.  I so want to join this and I guess I will know by June 1st if I will need to get a cast on again or not.  If I need a cast again all knitting is out.  Any ideas of what I might be able to craft with a cast on so I might have a chance of joining.  If not, then not. 

I already have some cool supplies on hand and know where to get more cool stuff.  I used to beading and the extent of my sewing skills are being able to sew on a button.
