Everyone's yarn looks great. I got a huge order of fiber in this week. This is my first contribution to fiber friday!

Happy Fiber Friday to all!!!  It is a special one for me,  after months of lurking here are my first pics...

merino, my first try at super slubs

My hubby got me an early birthday present

My brand new very own drum carder!!!!  Well I do have to share it with my son.  He's 6 and obsessed.  "Honey, do you want to go to the park and play?" "No, lets do some more drum carding."  We have made a dozen batts since Wendsday.

The reds were some old matted roving I had.  Now its a nice fluffy dream.  All the others are Romney locks from http://www.hollyeqq.com/page2.html

And lastly, I spun up our first multi colored batt this afternoon.

Have a great weekend!

And...great yarns, everyone!  Subloke, my boucle yarn is almost your color in real life!  And you can't really see it im my pics, but the llama is forming the little loops like a standard boucle.  Great job on yours!!!

wow, knitwit, that's so colorful and pretty!

here's what I worked on this week:

a stripey one that almost looks like it's plied, but it's a single. this guy is nameless so far

this is "Garage Sale". I took all the little fiber scraps that I had been squirreling away and spun this up, then plied it with gold thread.

It's super mismatched, but for some reason I love it.

Pics came out a little dark as I was too lazy to photoshop them.  Tongue

Knitwit any possibility of putting something similar to this in your shop? I LOVE rainbow yarn & can never find it in anything but acrylic.
