Because technically it's after midnight Grin

With this yarn, I'll officially start calling myself a spinner. I love it. The first picture is truer to color but I included the second for scale.

I dont know the yardage Undecided

you're so quick, it's still Thursday in my part of the world! Maybe next time I am antsy about starting I will announce that it is Friday somewhere!

Welcome to calling yourself a spinner!

yellow and green always makes me think of sesame street.

I like making stuff. Rumor has it, I'm an elf. Like a Santa Elf, not one of those elegant LOTR types.  Mostly because I compulsively craft and partially because I have green shoes.

hahah then Im going to name my yarn oscar the grouch.

It's Friday where I am! How could I wait for it to be Friday everywhere? I think not!  I might spin some more because I'm really not tired. I only have a week left with my wheel before I have to give her back... sigh. Then I can post even more Friday yarn Grin

Im in a geeky excited mood, and The Boyfriend isn't nearly as excited about my yarn as I am.

sigh. I bought both of mine on ebay. Maybe you can save for one too!

I love oscar the grouch!

They don't tend to be, those boyfriends, but at least you will learn to try and be interested in his boring projects!

oh, that's pretty! It's already midmorning over here, but I'll be a bit late with my addition - and the twist isn't set yet either, but I want to share it anyway Smiley

Vanillaxlight, I find that the boyfriend is hardly ever as excited about my spinning as I am. I love your oscar the grouch. Plying like a pro already  Cheesy

It seems like I'm on a one skein a week schedule but some of my other hobbies seem to get in the way.

When I first got my wheel my bf was interested now I'll ask him to help name my skeins and his answer is, "I don't know, you should call it neglect because that's what you do to me when you spin" and then I feel guilty. I wish I could post my pics from this week but alas, I'll probably post on monday. Great work everyone!!

I keep my wheel in the living room and I'll spin sometimes while my husband is playing Xbox, that way we're still having 'together' time even though we're doing different things.

ooh, I hate when men are jealous of my hobbies.

Vanilla, try talking to your local spinning or weaving guild. I just learned that they sometimes have used stuff for sale. Also ask your teacher, she might know someone too.
