Hi, girls. Can you please tell me as a bride would you like this pillow?

My BF is getting married saturday and she just called me today to as to make her ring bearer pillow! She was having a hard time finding one she wanted and I guess it was one of those things that she kept putting off and forgot about until today.

So with as short notice as I had I was not able to do as good as I would have liked. I wanted to sew the solid fabric to the shear fabric and then make the pillow from that. But with three kids asking for this or that and bothering me the entire time and the stress of not having her gifts 100% complete I forgot to sew them together and I did the soild one into a pillow form and then did the shear one and jsut put the soild one into the shear one and stuffed it. The ribbon is on there just to help the 2yr old ring bearer not loose the rings.

Please please tell me the truth. I think it is cute but not perfect. i do not want the bride to say she likes it but really not. I know that she cannot expect perfect with such short notice but I want her to at least really like it.

Thanks.

Amy

P.S I have time today to remake one but I will be leaving out of town in the morning and cannot take the sewing machine.

I think it is pretty, my only suggestion would be to (maybe) add something in the middle, so it gathers the pillow??

Sort of like this?

PS I looked at google images for "ring bearer pillows" and saw many nice ideas.

Oh thanks! I knew I was missing out on something. I have pearls too that would look so cute. I did not have a ring bearer pillow as DH and I just ran off and got married in Jamaica, so it was just the two of us and the preacher and they got the witness.

Thanks a million!!!!!

Amy

I agree with the dimple in the middle [I don't know what it's called really]. That way you can tie the rings there instead of the more awkward placement of along the edge.

I agree with the tufted center, but since that's already been said, I just wanted to tell you that the fabric is beautiful! I'm sure she'll love it -- so you don't have to worry when she tells you so! Smiley

Thanks girls! She loved it. My camera went crazy so I do not have pics of it. Maybe she can send me one. Smiley I will look thru the pics and see if I can't find one to zoom in on the pillow. LOL
