Personal swaps are not encouraged or supported by Craftster.  This is only a thread to post pictures from your personal experiences.  Personal swaps are not and cannot be tracked in Swap Feedback on profiles and should not be linked to Craftster's Organized Swaps in any way.

Folks who have participated in a personal swap and wish to share pictures of the items they have sent and received may do so by posting in this gallery.

Please note that this gallery is meant for those who have had a good experience with their personal swaps!  This is not the place to air your grievances about being "flaked" on...please keep it positive and give love to those awesome personal swappers!

I recieved a package today from thragegarden we decided on this swap last month but since I just got it today I though I would post here. She is a super swapper and sewer I haven't even sent her package to here yet!

Dulcinea and I are doing a personal swap. She got mine to me really really quickly (I nominate fastest knitter award to her BTW) because I need to wear it at my sisters wedding June 2nd. So here are some pics

ooh dulcinea - nice knitting! Did you make up the pattern yourself? It looks great!

thank you!  and no, it's not my pattern.  It's from knitty.com, called shimmer - the pattern called for lion brand glitterspun, which was rediculously expensive, as well as scratchy - so I substituted NatureSpun sport weight, from Brown Sheep Company, in a color called Silver Sage.

I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, and I'm so glad that Laural is happy with it.  My biggest worry was the sleeve length, because that flared ruffle is supposed to go from the wrist out and over the hand.  From the looks of it, it's just the right length!

I did a couple personal swaps so far this month and got spoiled!

Check out this amigurumi gnome from Angry Angel. Here he is meeting my other kids I received in the Shop the Swap swap). He's so adorable, is only about 4 inches tall and I've decided I want a whole army of them! 


And I got these awesome donut stitchmarkers from kischcrafts. Anyone who knows me (or has swapped with me) knows how much I love donuts and these are perfect! There's every kind of donut known to man (okay, not really, but there's a dozen!). I love 'em! And I purchased a custom item from her, french silk pie earrings. Kish, I couldn't get a good pic of them, would you post one of yours? And feel free to post a better pic of the donut stitchmarkers, I'm using a borrowed camera that doesn't like close-ups.


And last but not least is some gorgeous handspun yarn from knitwit inspired by some other yarn of hers on my wists! This yarn means so much to me, the colors remind me of my honeymoon in Hawaii and knitwit even got the shells from Hawaii last year! I can't wait to get started on a skinny scarf using this yarn, it'll be a perfect reminder of my time in Hawaii!
