For the most part I already know (and have) what I'm giving my mom for Mother's Day, but I'd really like to craft a little something extra.

She wears earrings, but I've never made them before- any suggestions about this? Tutorials, maybe?

She also is a big sucker for anything sentimental (runs in the family), so anything like that would be wonderful.

Sorry to add another one of those "I don't know what to get her..." posts on here, but you all have such great ideas! Thank you!

Hmmm.... difficult

If you look on the jewellery board you will find tons of inspiration and tutorials for earrings - just about any style to suit any preference.

As for other ideas, it all depends on what your crafty strengths are! For sentimentality you could try the soldered pendants http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=39105.0 or a framed scrapbook page of family memories.

How about shrinky dinks printed with photos/old drawings you did as a kid etc and then turned into pendants or earrings?

If you like sewing, how about printing some iron-on transfers and popping them on a bag/throw pillow/quilt etc? You could use copies of photos, letters, kid's drawings etc.

The Kanzashi flowers http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=24944.0 are always beautiful and make a fabulous addition to a gift.

It all depends on your mum's likes and your abilities - any more info to help us out?
