I'm so excited. I usually get lazy and don't take pictures of my projects, so I haven't had anything to post. This time though - this time I took pictures. So! Here is my first crafster project...Halloween costumes for my kids. My daughter was a gothic fairy. She wanted a drapey ballet-type outfit that would twirl nicely. My son is Link from Zelda. I altered a Simplicity pattern and my boyfriend paper-mache'd his sword, boomerang, shield, sword and belt buckle. I wish the pictures showed how sparkly everything is. I like glitter. Anyway, here they are.

Wow! I *love* the link costume! I was a huge Zelda fan as a kid! Link's Awakening for original Gameboy is my favorite game of all time! Great job!

^_^ Thanks for all your nice comments!

The Link costume was inspired by the new Zelda game, Four Swords. If you're familiar with the game, there are 4 Links in different colors. The orignal plan was for all 4 of us (me, boyfriend, daughter, son) to be the different colored Links, but I got started on the costumes way too late and didn't have time to finish them all.
