UMAMI!!!

i read up on bento boxes during a communications course- how they're a sort of status symbol in japan. like whoever has the fanciest bento boxed lunch has the most talented, loving wife or something like that. though I call myself a feminist, i think that's really cool.

I had NO IDEA that was *felt* until I scrolled down and saw it all disassembled. I thought it was modelling clay or something- everything is so TINY and PERFECT!! I think I'll have to make one for my fiance now. It'll be symbolic, like a real bento box is.

Awe, that is a beautiful idea riverwatson!  I would love to see it if you want to post a picture when you are done!
