been turning my house upside down trying to find our camera to take photos of retros shrine which is a awesome awesome mother nature theme with gorgeous pictures and my favorite colour green

rhino what kind of clay did you use? I ask because I always have a difficult time getting acrylic paint to stick on clay.

Love what you did though , is the man ermm anatomically correct ha?

i used white sculpey but i formed Cafferell and faerie bodies from steel wool and thin wire then wrapped clay about them baked it till it turned brown then slathered on gesso and painted with acrylic paints from there sealed with acrylic sealer. and yes Cafferell is anatomically correct he has his bits and pieces cut off though being a Castrati

I've received from alteredmommy!  It's an awesome little altered-board-book shrine to divination and I love it

Two shots of the lovely, shiny, glittery front...you can see the subtle changes in color that happen when you look at it from different angles:




A shot of it open...there's a beautiful triple goddess symbol inside the cover:


And a (rather washed-out, sorry) closeup of the goodies inside...two Tarot cards (the Star, which is the card that goes with my sign, and the Moon, which goes with my real name), a little hand for palmistry, the CEN rune for clarity and illumination (CEN is also used for the the letter 'C' in the Anglo-Saxon futhorc, which corresponds to the first letter of my real name), and a black mirror (depending on the brightness of your monitor, you should be able to see the reflection of my fingers in its shiny surface) for scrying:

I'm kicking myself in the bum right now because I've neglected to post the stunning piece of shrineage I received from Stifflersmom.

Stiffly, I swear I'll post tomorrow night. Reality has really gotten in the way of my crafting and that's not a good thing.
