Goatgoddess -- Your pages in this book are some of my favorites from this entire project.

Stifflersmom -- I'm glad you included a shot of the fold-out of Katxena's little book, because I thought that was just fabulous!

rackycoo -- Those bathing beauties are great. Are the tags tucked in behind the postcard?

Katxena -- Thanks for the compliments on the woven pages. I came up with that idea immediately, but then I didn't know what else to do. I was inspired by the quote "It's not trash -- it's ephemera!" on the first page of this book (Oh yeah -- where's the pic of the first page, anyway? I really liked it!) and I went with... well, lots of trash ephemera. A kind of "bird's nest" thing. Or... something.

Here's my favorite "trash to treasure" story about that page... when I went to make that little envelope, I was going to tear out a page from the thrift-store dictionary I was using. A receipt fell out as I picked it up. I think it's from... 1982, maybe? (Stifflersmom, you might still be able to read the date). I thought that was so funny: "Here's a piece of trash! I'll just use it to make that little envelope!"

It's great to see one book posted -- can't wait to see the rest!

Not to be all "Look at me! Look at me!" but... I posted some slightly better photos of the pages I made for Stifflersmom's book on my blog here.

Hrmmm... I don't mean to say that Stiffly's photos weren't good, so no offense is intended. I also had a hard time when I tried to scan these pages -- too much junk ephemera piled on, I think.

I've been waiting not very patiently for this gallery-what a totally fabulous book you got back Stifflersmom!!!!  You gals are an exceptional group of artists....I also can't wait to see the rest of the books!
