Holy smokes, Dulcinea that's awesome...
as we go round and round in the OWS-es I have seen this show up in wists and have often wondered how the heck to make it.  Good job!

Thanks ZaftigMomma, and thanks for the pattern Dulcinea.  So that's where it came from originally!  I had a great laugh at the descriptions for difficulty levels.  Still looks a bit scary, but I'll give it a try later.

it's actually very easy - there's nothing there but chain stitch, single crochet, and in the flower there's some double crochet - the only thing that makes it look so hard is that you use that crochet cotton and a very small hook.  so get out your bifocals, you can't borrow mine!

I don't think it was ever posted but here's what I sent to Igobylorib...

A Felt cuff with a birdie on it. The first pictures colors are way off, the second one is slightly better.

And an itty bitty pin cushion. I apologize for the picture quality because they where taken with my horrible camera phone.
