I've been wearing this constantly with tees, jeans, dresses, everything -- and NO ONE has yet said, "Did you knit that?" which to me says it looks pretty hot. But I'm biased.

It's the perfect thing for summer because A) it's cotton, perfect mix of cool and warm, B) just wad it up into a ball and toss it somewhere when it gets too warm, and C) so easy to wear, just tie it and forget it!

I also sewed the tunic top (I made it up myself). The straps and trim along the top edge are single crocheted out of the same yarn as the sweater. So it's a twin set, right? Yay!

Oh yeah! It's this pattern without the long wrap-around ties.

Turned out cute. What brand of cotton yarn did you use?

I knit it exactly as written, just skipped the last step of adding long crochet chains to each tie.

That's Schachenmayr Twostep cotton/acrylic that Elann has for cheap!

Totally pretty! I also like the tank top. It must be really versatile.

Oh, I love that - I've been on the lookout for lacy boleros as they're so useful for spring/summer, too! Yours looks fab Smiley
