That's OK... I really screwed up my first one. Angry  I didn't measure very well, and ended up with a huge empty space of vinyl on both ends.  ugh.  But I got the hang of it.

Oh, oh, and the really funny part is that one of my favorite books' series when I was little was The Baby-Sitters Club...and I got the one titled "Mary Anne Saves the Day" to use for this project. And my name is Mary Ann! Ok, maybe I'm the only one that thinks that is awesome/hilarious, but I love it!
I can't believe you said that!!!  My daughters LOVE that series and I've been buying up every one I find at the thrift stores... and they asked me to make them Baby-Sitters Club wallets!  And I do think it's awesome/hilarious b/c it will be super-personalized with your name! Wink  Can't wait to see pics.

I get mine cheap-o at Wal-Mart; they sell it on the bolt.  Check the remnant bins -- they almost always have some there, too.  Usually anywhere they sell fabric, they'll have some type of vinyl.

I saw this once then IE shut down before I got all the way through it and I spent an hour trying to re-find it only to discover I was in the wrong board...ARG!  Haven't tried it yet...just have to get my sorry butt over to the craft store to find some vinyl...but all those 25c crotch novels on the rack outside the used bookstore are calling to me...

I LOVE IT!! I'm just going to have to decide on something else to use besides book covers...I just couldn't bear to actually tear a cover off of a book. *Tears up at thought*
