did you go out and buy the wood for this or did you already have it? if you don't mind my asking, about how much did you spend on the wood? i'd love to make some of these someday but i currently do not have anymore room in my small apartment!

I just LOVE this idea! I'm definately bringing this up to the SO for when/if we get our house.

Tetris colors would be awesome, especially with block within the blocks outlines if it was all fancy.

i bought the wood at home depot...just bought wide boards of pine (pine is basically the cheapest wood other than particle board).

im not sure exactly how much it cost...id guess around $30-$40?
