tetris bookshelves!

i hope this is in the right thread...

well, they arent painted yet but here are some tetris bookshelves that i made...they are not attached to each other so they can be rearranged into different configurations...

i think i got the idea from somewhere a few years ago...but i cant remember for the life of me where...if you know where let me know so i can give them credit...

ummm...relatively. theyre more sturdy than they look. but not put a glass vase on the top sturdy...

Those are awesome!  I wonder if there is some way you could attach them temporarily to make them more sturdy?

yeah...i was...and then i thought about also putting colored poster board on the backs of them so the whole block was one color...i just havent gotten around to it...i tend to move onto the next project before i ever fully finish one.

this is an idea that has been floating around in my head, but due to my major lack of carpentry skills, I was just going to buy like 20 wooden boxes and paing them the appropriate colours in sets of four and glue/place them into the correct shapes.

I cant wait to see these painted!
