O.k. so I'm crocheting this purse:

(front panel)

It's not really crooked like that

What I need help with is deciding which one of these fabrics behind it.

Yellow

or pink

It's kinda hard to tell, but the yarn is actually a heathered blue, the second pic is the closest to the actual color.
Any opinions would be much appreciated!  Thanks!

I think either will work, but I think that the yellow will lighten up the yarn a bit.

I vote for the yellow. It's softer and looks good behind your panel.
The panel is a very pretty shade. I can't wait to see your final product!

I vote pink. It's a great contrast to the blue.

I like the yellow. It is more subtle so the focus will be on your crochet work!

If you want something more "ladylike" a pretty, go with yellow.  But if you want somethin rockin, go with pink!  (I vote pink!)  Wink

Yellow would be nice. Are you going to do a flower on the front? what pattern are you working from?

Thank you all for your input.  Here is the final purse in all it's glory.  This is the first time I have sewn the lining in with a sewing machine (the machine likes to eat the crochet).  It's not the best sewing, but I think it will be a lot sturdier then hand-sewing.  Anyway on to the pictures....

Thank you all for your help.  I hope you like it!

(edited to make the picutres bigger)
