Profound apologies to Queen Of Fools for not getting the pictures up quicker - suffice to say that mechanical breakdowns occur in threes and we've survived the third disaster.

Now onto something altogether more cheerful... and beautiful and lovely and ... its mine!  Thank you Queen Of Fools - we all love it!

A great, big box.... gads... what could be in there - this was 5 x 5 wasn't it?

Nestled inside, safe from any dangers on her long trip to another hemisphere, was this lovely lady:

And these gorgeous shells continue around the entire perimeter.  Here they are in close up so you can see the superb jewel tones:

Finally, here she is in situ, hanging on my wall (and yeah, another photo is kind of gratuitous but this piece of art deserves it:

Thank you Queen Of Fools - the mermaid is just lovely!

You're very welcome, and I'm glad you like her!  I am also glad she arrived safely.  I was a bit worried about the shells falling off...

Completely unscathed, and the idea of embellishing the outside perimeter this way is great, adding another dimension as well as making the entire piece ready-to-hang.  (yeah, I'm still lovin' it  Smiley )

oldprin received my package but is having a difficult time posting pix, so she asked me to post the ones I have!

I etched and painted and glued mosaic pieces to a wooden box: (The square on top made by the etching and paint is the 5x5 square)

I also made a little extra woodburned keychain!

Quick check in: We have two swappers left to receive and then we'll be able to wrap this puppy up.

If you and your partner have both received and pictures of both items have been posted in the gallery you should have received feedback for the swap already. Let me know if this is not the case.

Thanks all!

AH! Finally. So, Hetobeto and I both have had some posting and camera issues, but I think I can get this all taken care of. She sent me this GREAT beachy embroidery, and I sent her a little painty thing. Pictures:

What she made me...

What I made her.

Great swap! Thanks, Brill!
