i'd love to participate in a 2nd round, too. it's such a great swap! jesa--yeow! is it all needlpoint or are there some other fabric things  happening there? just great! clarinetcutie--what a terrific book! great colors and i love the buttons.

thanks! it's actually Russian Punch Needle, when you do it both the front and back turn out amazing, the background is what is SUPPOSED to be the back of the piece, but I love it so I use it on both sides. it comes out as loops on the "right" side and then you can cut and sculpt them to make it 3-d. it's a little time consuming (ha!) but it turns out really nice

These are all wonderful.  This is a great swap because it can be done with whatever type craft you like to do.  For example, I got this fantastic sewn pouch from J_en.  Here is the front:

She included a bird (which I love) and tucked into the pouch was a wonderful poem about birds that have a singing competition.  The back of the pouch is awesome too (and I can't imagine how much time it took to make!).

I love it, thank you.  Yours is on it's way, I hope you like it as much as I like mine!

It's 5 X 5 X 2--I guess!! Here they are side by side. On the right is this  yummy lavender sachet that she made in patchwork blue/white fabrics. Soooo pretty! At the left is just this amazing amazing piece of 5 X 5 fabric art with buttons and beads.-

if you could see this and TOUCH it in real, your socks would be knocked off!!! March, I LOVE this like you can't believe!!

Nice job March, I wish I could see it better, there looks to be a lot of small detail. I can tell that it is wonderful though!

J_en the raven pouch is beautiful. There one of my favorite animals

Ok I received a while back but I have been hugely busy with spring concerts and finals and music festivals so finally...here are some pictures!

I got this amazing journal from Jennybear. It is crazy awesome with this cool paperish-cardstockish? cutout on the front. Its so intricate and amazing. Theres another cutout on the inside but I forgot to take a pic of it.

A close up of the incredible detail on the front!

30 years from now, it won't matter what shoes you wore, what your hair looked like, or where you bought your jeans. What will matter is what you learned and how you have used it.

Finally posting my package from oldprin: It's fantastic!

I told her I like turtles, so she made me a very cute turtle box:

If you can click on the picture, you can see that it says A + H on it- that's for me and my boyfriend Anthony. Smiley

The box also had a very cute bottlecap magnet in it. (Sorry, the picture's really blurry!)

She also sent along her first idea: melted bead 5 x 5 squares!  They didnt turn out quite as she'd hoped, but she sent them along anyway.  They make great coasters for my bedroom!

Craftster needs you!

I love my husband!
