I'm so glad you loved it, Gatsby Girl! I definitely made it with you and your interests in mind!  Grin My husband just saw the picture and said, "It is sad that it's not here anymore." Like it was some kind of pet we gave up for adoption.  Cheesy

Second, you've piqued my curiosity: why do you write down what your kids do? Is it a journal for them for when they're grown, or homeschooling-related, or something else?

I don't have any children of my own, mostly because of my job. Roll Eyes
I'm a teacher/counselor for emotionally disturbed teenagers in a group home. State law requires that we have record of behaviors and activities every 15 minutes. Its kinda a pain when they're watching a movie and you just keep writing, "House enjoying movie on couch in TV room" over and over again. But it does come in handy when you've been gone for 3 days and need to catch up on all the drama that's been going on since you left.  Wink

Ah!  That sounds like a really demanding job, even without the paperwork!

I don't know if this has ever happened to any of you, but here's my story.

I have a super, high stress job and some days are just awful. (cue the violin and cheese eating to go with aforementioned whine...) Lately, they've been particularly awful. Yesterday, when I came home to a super awesome, precisely what I wanted, excellently crafted swap package from susanab it just made the rest of the day seem less awful.

however, I can't share the awesome wristlet and notebook susanab sent  just yet.... so you all shall have to wait in anticipation. Why? mostly because I'm cruel... and a little bit because I can't find my flipping camera!!

I just wanted you all to know that susanab rocks! and soon you all shall see how much!

Just the idea that I could rock bowls me over, March!!!
Crafting for you was even more of a treat when you told me how much you liked the wristlet and 4 X 4  notebook. It seems like every other swap I take pictures before sending and this was the "on" week, I guess. Here's the wristlet -- I didn't take the notebook.

I received from hertrigger today, and let me just say it's a good thing she posted the teaser pick cause Australian custom's wrapping technique leaves a lot to be desired  Wink

but they did leave me a pressie:

Although they opened my card:

But after all that, it emerged unscathed  Cheesy

Isn't it PURTY! Thanks hertrigger!!!

Also included were some cards for some crafty businesses. Lots of pretties to look at!
